A favourite annual event for families across Gloucestershire, Dean Forest Railway is set to once again host its series of Santa Specials – combining Christmas cheer and plenty of steam for a real festive treat. Taking place on selected dates from Saturday 27 November to Friday 24 December 2021 and expected to be bigger than ever, Santa Claus.. This is a circular route in the Forest of Dean, a great piece of forestry commission land with a long straight disused railway line path. This path is well marked with very convenient parking. There are a wide variety of linking paths that you can explore if you wish to make your route shorter or longer.
